I like the stamped images showing through. If you click on the picture, you can see the stamp of the girl looking through the grid.

Graffite Paper

This began life as a stripped piece of scrapbook paper that I did not like so I altered it into graffite paper. I really like this and now do not want to cut it up.

This is a drawing I did today. May try to work it into a art bag.

I finished this album over the weekend.

One of my students gave me this so I altered it to put on my embellished paper.

A bird in the hand etc, etc.

This is my first experience with beeswax. I like the foggy look it gives. I wish I had a pretty handwriting. A beautiful handwriting would be even better. This began life as a piece of foam core , as well as the "face in a crowd" piece.

This piece is attached to a piece of cloth that will eventually be made into a book. I added a transparency over the picture of a face. His eyes, nose and mouth are visible to the left inside of the little girls face. ( you can see it better if you enlarge the picture.) Also there is a face under the glass pebble. There is a paint brush that I had used for years attached to the left. In a desperate moment, I grabbed it and used it to stir some gold UT embossing powder so now own a " brush dipped in gold".

I added beeswax at the bottom right of this collage.

Bird Nest

I took a photo of a nest a bird had built and drew it out. I added a stamp to enhance it. I love adding rubber stamps to my art.

New Collage

This is a new collage I did using my new favorite line of stamps, CharacterConstructions.com I love this new line of rubber stamps, very artsy.

This is some of the pages I worked up.

I love, love, love this book. It is spiral coil bound with lots of neat pages inside.

The spine has charms and beads attached to a metal chain.

The back has a oriental mermaid stamped on it.

This journal is thin metal covering heavy bookboard. The word JOURNAL is dimensional and the front and back have stamp art. The pages are white watercolor paper for art and journaling.

Journal

This journal also has embellished watercolor papers for you to do art or journal on. It has a three dimensional butterfly on the right hand corner and clip art glass slide under the butterfly. The front is embellished with charms and the spine is coptic stitch so the book will lay flat.

New Journal

This is one of my new journals. It has embellished watercolor papers for doing art or journaling on. I love the face. I have "Her life" spelled randomly on the front. The spine has beautiful fiber and bead embellishments.

I LOVE this journal. Every art element I love is visible in this journal. If this had been the only class I took at Art&Soul, it would have been worth the trip.

This is the back and spine of my metal journal that I made in Thomas and Romona Ashman's class at Art&Soul.

This is the beret I altered for Art & Soul. I love the face stamp and use it often in my art.

I love this piece. She will be for sale at Vendor's Night at ArtFiberFest. It does not show up but she holds a journal that I made under one arm and the bicycle handle in the other hand. The back of her jacket has a fish that I scanned onto canvas cloth and sewed onto her jacket.

Fiber Art Page

This did not show any of my detail work but it is fragments of fabric that is attached to a background and held with metallic thread. The face is then attached to the inside of the frame and a layer of batting is added. I could not get a good image of the back fabric I used. It is swirls of orange. Now I have to go in and add sequins and embellishments. Lots of work? OH Yeah!

This is something ya gotta love or it is waaaay to involved. She will eventually be a fiber art book.

This is a photo of my Art Satchel. I love this bag. It is spacious and the front closures stay closed with a strong velcro.

I tried to get a good close up of the art work on the straps but this camera is not my best friend.
